Single Point of Contact for International Requests

The register authority acts as a central point of contact for all international requests regarding beneficial ownership information, including requests from registries and authorities of other Member States and third countries.
 

According to Article 14a BORA, the register authority may cooperate with authorities in other Member States and third countries that perform equivalent duties. It is also possible to exchange and process information, data and documents that are relevant for the assessment of the beneficial ownership of legal entities.

Such cooperation is further allowed to include the conducting of ad hoc reviews by the registry authority and the subsequent transmission of information, data and documents obtained in the course of such investigations.

Of course, the register authority is also available for general enquiries about the Register of Beneficial Owners.
