In order to ensure data security, the current encryption standard Transport Layer Security (TLS) is used on webpages and web services, guaranteeing secure data transfer over the internet. Older encryption standards, such as the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL), as well as older encryption algorithms, for example Rivest Cipher 4 (RC4), are no longer supported for security reasons.
This means that it is no longer possible to access webpages and web services using outdated operating systems and web browsers, such as Windows XP and Internet Explorer 8, since these no longer meet with current security Standards.
