Wissenschaftlicher Beirat Funk

The "Wissenschaftlicher Beirat Funk" is a scientific advisory board for radio communications assigned to the Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF). Its members are renowned Austrian scientists from different technical and medical specialist disciplines.

The task of this scientific advisory board is to inform people in an objective way about the current state of the art in the field of mobile communications and health, whether or not mobile communications (cell phone and cell phone masts), but also other sources of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation (for example television, radio) affect human health, furthermore to advise political decision-makers and to support them by means of expert opinions. The "Wissenschaftlicher Beirat Funk" is designed as an independent expert body - any pressures and inducements from outside on the development of their intents is excluded.
